You never know when your idea may change the trend of the world. Before blogging became popular, digital communities took many forms, which use to run on networks by creating and running conversations with threads, it was conceived by Duke University graduate students Tom Truscott and Jim Ellis in 1979 where users read and post public messages.

The modern blog evolved from the online diary, where people would keep a running account of their personal lives. Most such writers began personal blogging in 1994. After a slow start, blogging rapidly gained in popularity. Blog usage spread during 1999 and the years following, being further popularized by the near-simultaneous arrival of the first hosted blog tools Open Diary, 1998, Diaryland, Pitas, LiveJournal , and Blogger in 1999. Later Google acquired blogger in 2003.

Though there are thousands of blog appear and disappear on every single day Forests.org of the blogs which claims to be the world’s first and longest continuously running web blog — since 1995

There are many micro blogging sites amongst which twitter has emerged as 3rd most popular social networking site. Twitter had been initially used for internal communication of employees is a social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users’ updates.

The beginning of most popular social networking site Facebook sprouted as a thought by Mark Zuckerberg, when he was blogging about a girl and trying to think of something to do to get her off his mind
